Urban course -
for children born between 2012 – 2009
Do you like rap and hip-hop?
Do you think 3D lettering and graffiti are cool?
This 3-day course is just the thing for you!
Join a rapper to play with words and rhyme, in Dutch. You will write a songtext yourself and then rehearse with a musical accompaniment. You will learn what 'flowing' means in rap music and get one or two tips from a real professional rapper.
On the final day you will all record a rap song together in a mobile studio.
Besides music and slam poetry the programme also includes street art. You will learn and practice 3D lettering and create your own tags, which we will then spray with paint like graffiti.
The monitors will encourage the children to speak Dutch while they play, even though these workshops are not supposed to be language courses.
This course takes place in cooperation with Roncha.
